Community support made Craft Fair a success
The Edmonds-Woodway Music Boosters, Music Directors, and students would like to say a BIG thank you to all of the people who helped make this year's Craft Fair a success:
Thank you to the Edmonds Beacon for letting their readership know about vendor openings, and the time and dates of the Fair. Over a third of the shoppers indicated that they heard about the fair through the newspaper;
Thank you to Angie at Aurora Village Home Depot for helping with our loading and unloading of vendors;
Thank you to Jonquil at the Edmonds Theater for allowing us to advertise in their preview to the main feature;
Thank you to the many gracious merchants in Edmonds for posting our flyer in the window of their business.
A special thanks to Miriam Mikelson, EWHS Principal, Geoff Bennett and Robert Johnson, EWHS Vice Presidents, Nick Brossoit, ESD Superintendent, Scott Barnes ESD Manager of Visual and Performing Arts, Margaret Langsted, EWHS Music Boosters President, and Marikay Gillingham, EWHS Music Boosters Craft Chairperson.
Thank you to the numerous parent and student volunteers who helped with set up Friday evening, and throughout the day on Saturday.
A huge thank you to the talented vendors who chose to exhibit at our Fair. We know there are many Craft Fairs this time of year, and we appreciate that you chose to exhibit at the Music Boosters Craft Fair.
They say it is something in the water that produces the caliber of musicians that come out of the Northwest. I believe it is something about the communities that support these budding musicians in their musical endeavors.
Thank you again Edmonds!
