College baseball seminar for teens Nov. 13 | Sports brief

Nov 13, 2013

The Everett Community College Trojan Baseball Club will be presenting its second seminar on "Recruiting the Four Year School of Your Dreams" and "Things to Know if You Might One Day Want to Play Pro Ball” for high school and middle school players and their parents.

This year's discussion will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Everett Community College in Whitehorse Hall, Room 103 – just upstairs from the gymnasium.

Seth Dawson, former Pacific International Semi-Professional Baseball League Commissioner and current President of Operations for the Everett Community College Trojan and Everett Merchant (semi-pro/summer collegiate) Baseball Clubs, is one of the presenters, along with one or more local professional baseball scouts.

Admission is $10 per person, payable at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Trojan assistant baseball coaches (who basically volunteer their time and expertise).

Recommended books on both topics will be available for sale.

Everett Community College is at 2000 Tower St. in Everett.
