The agencies decided the space was simply not big enough to handle everyone expected to attend!The Seattle Cherry Point coal export scoping hearing has been postponed by the agencies due to inadequate space at the venue to accommodate the volume of opponents to coal exports that are expected to show.

If you can't make it to the hearing, your voice can still be heard. All comments received during the scoping process will be considered the same way. There are many ways that you can participate in the scoping process.

In addition to the online scoping meeting that is available throughout the 120 day scoping process, the Co-Lead Agencies will host scoping meetings.
All scoping meetings are drop-in events where you can come at any time during the meeting and stay as long as you like.
The Dec. 13 meeting is the only Seattle based meeting scheduled and will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., at the Washington State Convention Center, Ballroom 6F, 800 Convention Place, Seattle.
