The City of Edmonds will hold a Public Open House on the results of the Dayton Street and SR104 Drainage Alternatives Study, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, June 20, at the 3rd Floor Brackett Room, Edmonds City Hall, 121 5th Ave. N, Edmonds.

The City of Edmonds Public Works & Utilities Department, Engineering Division has evaluated the causes of flooding at the intersection of Dayton Street and SR 104 and has a recommended alternative to address this problem.

This open house will present the causes of flooding and the recommended alternative. Your input is requested on the recommended alternative.

The evening will begin with a presentation of the causes of the flooding and a description of the components of the recommended alternative.

This alternative includes the daylighting of Willow Creek. The presentation will be identical to that presented to City Council on May 28, 2013.

Following the presentation, the meeting will be open to questions. Representatives of the engineering firm SAIC, who assisted the City on this project, will be available to answer questions.
