Chamber welcomes new board member, Gary T. ChooMr. Choo specializes in comprehensive portfolio management and personalized financial planning services.
The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce announced this week the appointment of Gary T. Choo to the Board of Directors.
“The Board and staff of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce are truly pleased to welcome Gary Choo, founder of GTC Financial Services, Inc. to the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,” Ron Clyborne, Edmonds Chamber President said. “Gary brings a unique breadth of experience in financial planning, technology and entrepreneurship. Not only is Gary well respected in the Edmonds community, he is well established in the Highway 99 Business District, which is an area Edmonds is focusing on for future economic development.”
In addition to expanding the Chamber’s presence in the Highway 99 Business District, Gary welcomes the opportunity to engage new leaders, including those in the local Korean American business community. He will also be joining the Chamber’s Economic Development Committee as well.
Since founding GTC Financial Services, Inc. in 1996, Mr. Choo has served as an investment advisor. He specializes in comprehensive portfolio management and personalized financial planning services.
Gary brings joy and a fresh perspective to individuals and small business owners to create a framework that supports their current and future financial needs. Prior to becoming an investment advisor, he worked as an Information Technology professional for 28 years with the Department of Defense where he retired as IT Director.
Gary received his degree from the University of Maryland, with a major in Business Administration and minor in Computer Science. He is a registered Investment representative and a member of the FINRA which is the largest independent securities regulator in the U.S.
