The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce has donated $5,552.98 in tips from August’s A Taste of Edmonds to the Boys and Girls Club in Edmonds.

The tips were received from patrons in the beer and wine gardens at the event presented by the chamber.

The check was presented to the club during the Edmonds Chamber Networking Breakfast at Fairwinds-Brighton Court.

Individuals, nonprofits and service clubs return year after year to volunteer their time in order to make A Taste of Edmonds a success, president and CEO Greg Urban said.

“We are very pleased to be able to support the efforts of the Boys & Girls Club, which makes such a difference in the lives of children in our community. We also want to thank our dedicated group of volunteers, who have helped make this event possible for the past 33 years.

"Without the Taste, we would be unable to support so many local nonprofits and produce community events like the Fourth of July celebration.”
