Cantabile to perform Christmas concert

Nov 20, 2012

Cantabile of Skagit Valley, now under the direction of Stephen Marshall-Ward, presents its annual Christmas concert in Lynnwood.

The concert, "On a Cold Winter's Night," captures both the bleakness and the wonder of the season.

It features Morten Lauridsen's “Mid-Winter Songs”, “Coventry Carol” arranged by Darmon Meader, Philip Stopford's “In the Bleak Midwinter” and others as one aspect of the season. “Praetorius' Es ist ein Ros Entsprungen”, Barnum's “Sweeter Still”, Stopford's “Christmas Blessing” and more show the season's joy.

They invite you to bring your family to this exceptional concert!

Concert is Sunday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church; 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.
