A lot of talent to benefit Sandy victims
Edmonds Elementary is putting on a talent show to benefit the National PTA Superstorm Sandy Relief Fund.
Scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the school gym, organizers have put together a variety of talent to entertain you with, including singers, dancers, magicians, artists and athletes.
Event sponsors feel they are showcasing the best and brightest talent from the Edmonds Elementary community.
Mackenzie Thoms, an EE alumni and American Idol finalist, is even scheduled to perform.
“This is an amazing showcase of the top talent,” Shelly Simmons, one of the show organizers, said. “It’s a wonderful story… great talent and big hearts.”
Simmons has 25 acts and more than 45 kids participating in the show, which includes everything from origami to a 6-year-old skateboarder.
