He’s won numerous awards and his work has appeared in over 150 magazines and journals.
He will be reading from his latest book Collage (Selected and New Poems), which J. Glenn Evans founder of Poetswest calls “one of the best books of poetry I’ve ever read.”
Mr. Sanchez workshops on The Day of the Dead. His most recent work is the translation of John Burgess’ Punk Poems in his book Graffito.
He will be reading from his inaugural collection "All Our Brown-Skinned Angels," published by Moon Path Press.
It is a work filled with poems of cultural identity, “familial, a civil protest, a personal celebration and completely impassioned.” Come on out and enjoy, a fine evening of poetry by these local poets.
